Starbucks Financial Model & Reporting Dashboard

Built a P&L forecasting model in Excel with Base, Upside, and Downside scenarios, using three years of 10-K and 10-Q data. Every revenue, operating expense, and margin assumption has a written reason behind it. Tracked performance metrics by quarter and segment: revenue against prior year and forecast, operating margin, comparable sales, transactions, and store counts. Compared my forecast with management guidance, analyst consensus, and actual results. The biggest variance came from Starbucks moving its China business into a joint venture; I sized the impact, updated the forecast, and landed within 0.4% of consensus revenue. Used Gemini, Claude, and ChatGPT to speed up data collection and model checks, then published the results as an interactive dashboard: albertdelacruz.github.io/starbucks_fpa
