The externship guided construction of a three-statement financial model and driver-based forecasts, followed by a discounted cash flow valuation and an investor-style pitch. The work combined spreadsheet modeling with AI-assisted workflows to assemble model inputs, projections, and valuation outputs.
I produced a three-statement model and driver-based forecast for AppFolio, extracted inputs from its 10-K, and produced a DCF valuation plus investor-style presentation materials.
I read AppFolio’s 10-K, summarized its business segments, product tiers, and value-added services, listed key risks and management changes, and reported revenue and margin trends (growth, cash flow, and declining GAAP/non-GAAP margins).
