The externship examined product and growth approaches used by social apps, focusing on benchmarking competitors, analyzing engagement features, and designing a growth-oriented feature concept. Work combined comparative analysis with a feature design artifact. The deliverables included a competitor benchmark and a feature concept proposal.
I produced a five-stage user journey map that recorded actions, thoughts, and feelings at each stage, plus a PM problem statement identifying prompt-trigger anxiety and a proposal to reduce it.

During the BeReal benchmarking task I listed core product features (Daily notification, Dual-camera capture, Post-to-view friends feed, Discover, Memories, BeReal Wrapped), described each feature, and connected each to retention or MAU-growth mechanisms.
