A Pinterest externship exploring Gen Z consumer behavior and building evidence-backed insights for the platform's sales team.
The externship investigated how Gen Z uses Pinterest by designing and running primary research with real users. Over six weeks the project applied the Jobs-to-be-Done framework, deployed a survey to Gen Z respondents, and synthesized responses into a single evidence-backed insight presented as an advertiser-facing pitch.
I ran a small, structured study of Gen Z Pinterest users: I designed the survey, recruited participants from my network, collected responses, and turned those findings into a concise pitch-ready insight.
