The externship centered on sourcing Vertical AI startups and producing investor-ready analysis for a newly formed venture fund. Work combined market mapping, startup diligence, and investment memo composition. Deliverables included candidate screening and a complete investment memo draft.
I sourced three Vertical AI startups, assembled firmographic and funding data for each, and consolidated the findings into a shared evaluation spreadsheet used to support a full investment memo draft.
During the externship I sourced three startups with supporting data (website, funding, headcount, industries) using AI and databases. I produced a shared spreadsheet listing each company's profile, funding, and summary for evaluation.
