Overview
During my externship at Hydroficient, I developed and executed cyber defense strategies for IoT infrastructure. I conducted realistic cyberattacks and implemented security measures, culminating in a comprehensive security playbook tailored for a real-world application. This experience deepened my understanding of IoT technologies and the critical need for robust security protocols.
What I've accomplished
I produced an asset inventory, data-flow maps, a STRIDE-applied threat model for each component, and an executive summary that prioritized the top three threats with recommended fixes for the hotel's water IoT system.

The project consolidated six CSV sources into an analytics database schema and prepared a Q4 dashboard. The work examined each data source, defined data models and relationships, and transformed raw files into cleaned, queryable tables for reporting.
What I've accomplished
I built a queryable SQLite analytics database from six CSV sources and documented five instant answers (top products by units and revenue, catalog size, Meta ad spend, and unique checkouts).

On Day 1 I inventoried the six data sources, ran SQL queries against the provided SQLite database, and recorded five instant answers (top products by units and revenue, catalog size, Meta ad spend, and unique checkouts) in a Week 1 Holiday Game Plan document.

AccessFacing scattered spreadsheets, I created a unified schema, aggregated product performance with GROUP BY and SUM, and produced a ranked reorder recommendation that identified which products to restock for the holidays.
