About me

I study finance at Texas A&M and am gaining hands-on valuation skills through projects and an Excel & AI financial-modeling externship.

I am a sophomore finance student at Texas A&M University pursuing a Bachelor’s degree. Excel & AI Financial-Modeling Sprint

Build a three-statement model, forecast with drivers, run a DCF, and pitch a company like a pro. In this 3-week sprint, GPT helps you work faster—so you can walk away with real valuation skills and a polished investor deck.

Overview

The work produced a linked three-statement financial model, driver-based forecasts for 2026–2028, and a discounted cash flow valuation using public market data and Dropbox’s 2025 10-K. Deliverables included a one-page strategic snapshot, three reconciled years of historical statements, calculated financial ratios, and a balanced forecast that reconciled assets with liabilities and equity.

What I've accomplished

I produced a one-page strategic snapshot from Dropbox's 2025 10-K, reconciled three years of historical income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow figures, calculated gross margin, ROE and debt-to-equity (noting distortions from negative equity), and used those inputs in a linked three-statement model with a 2026–2028 driver-based forecast and DCF.

Project breakdown

I read Dropbox’s 2025 10-K, summarized its business model, product lines, competitive landscape, key risks, management tone, and strengths/weaknesses. The submission produced a one-page strategic snapshot capturing those findings.

The project compiled three years of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow figures, calculated gross margin, ROE, and debt-to-equity, and annotated that ROE and D/E trends were distorted by persistent negative equity.

I translated driver assumptions into a defendable 2026–2028 forecast, linked those forecasts into the model, fixed broken links, and produced a balanced set of financial statements showing assets and liabilities/equity that matched.
