At the end of this simulation, I analyzed and interpreted a real-world dataset using Excel, identified key trends and insights, and created visualizations to communicate findings. The project strengthened my data analysis, problem-solving, and business decision-making skills while giving me practical experience in a consulting and management environment.

The externship tasked participants with researching how Gen Z uses Pinterest and producing a single evidence-backed insight for the sales team. Over six weeks the work combined a Jobs-to-be-Done survey design, data collection from at least 30 Gen Z respondents, and analysis to surface a clear consumer insight.
