The externship examined how social apps balance authentic user experiences with growth strategies. The work compared engagement features across competitors, analyzed retention drivers, and designed a prototype growth feature for a social app. Deliverables included competitive benchmarks and a feature concept.
I evaluated core social apps, mapped engagement mechanics, and designed a growth-focused feature concept that preserved authentic interactions. Below are the specific tasks I completed during the externship.
