The externship produced a cleaned historical financial dataset, a multi-year forecast model, and a valuation for a 40-year-old, $80M family-owned IT firm. Work included reconciling accounting records, constructing a bottoms-up financial forecast, and calculating enterprise and equity value using standard valuation approaches. Deliverables were formatted for executive and buyer review.
I analyzed five years of Attronica financials, calculated key financial ratios, benchmarked them to industry peers, and produced a three-bullet FP&A summary highlighting strengths, risks, and notable trends.
The task compiled five years of financials, compared Attronica's eight ratios to industry benchmarks, applied the FP&A four-move method, and produced a three-bullet FP&A read summarizing key strengths and risks based on the analysis.
