A 40-year-old, $80M family-owned IT firm is preparing to sell — and they need real FP&A work to back it: clean financials, a defensible forecast, and a valuation. Organize the books, model the forecast, and deliver a valuation that lands on the CEO's desk and on a buyer's table.
The work organized the company's financial records and produced foundational FP&A outputs for a planned transaction. Tasks included standardizing historical financials and building models to generate a forecast and valuation. Deliverables were a cleaned books dataset and valuation model.
I completed the externship deliverables that prepared the company's financials and valuation materials for review by leadership and prospective buyers.
