The externship converted six raw CSV sources into a structured analytics database and produced a Q4 dashboard prototype. The work cataloged each dataset, mapped relationships across sales, products, and customers, and defined staging and fact tables for analytics. Deliverables included the database schema and a dashboard-ready data model.

I inventoried all six raw tables, produced five exploratory SQL queries with results (top products, catalog size, ad spend), and authored a running Week‑1 project brief summarizing dataset capabilities and gaps.

A fragmented set of four spreadsheets was unified by designing dim_product, assigning stable product IDs, and joining it with event and sales tables. I ran aggregation queries to produce a product performance table used to rank products by revenue and units sold.
During the externship I analyzed referrals, Meta campaign and sales data, calculated CTR, CPC and ROI per campaign, and produced a Q4 ad allocation plan that linked $37K in Meta spend to $61K sales and recommended campaign-level reallocations.
The project examined exported checkout records, identified bot-like sessions (high quantities, rapid duplicate accounts, odd shipping-to-subtotal ratios), created a filtered view of clean checkouts, and recalculated the abandonment rate excluding noise.
