During my externship with Beats by Dre, I explored consumer behavior and market analysis through hands-on projects that enhanced my understanding of marketing strategy and product innovation. I utilized AI tools to analyze data, crafted customer journey maps, and conducted surveys that provided deep insights into consumer needs and frustrations.
I produced an interactive pain-point chart, an AIDA-structured customer journey summary, a ManyChat-automated Google Form survey, and quantitative and qualitative visualizations of survey responses using Google Sheets and AI prompts.
During the externship I generated top pain points for headphone users, converted the AI JSON into an interactive chart app, and exported a visualization image. The deliverables included a live Replit chart and a PNG of the radar chart.
A customer journey was mapped across Awareness, Interest, Desire, and Action for headphone/earbud shoppers. I documented what users did, thought, felt, and key touchpoints at each stage, then revised the map to link stages directly to identified pain points.
The project analyzed the research question, generated and reviewed survey questions, published a Google Form, validated ideal respondents with AI, crafted outreach messages for three platforms, and built and improved a ManyChat chatbot flow to collect responses.
I reviewed 20 survey responses, identified Likert and categorical questions, calculated means, medians, modes and percentages, ran correlations and segmented by age and ownership, and produced charts and an AI-backed analysis plan summarizing price, battery life, and sound quality as top findings.

The externship focused on defining ABU's brand positioning and translating it into visual and social content for TikTok and Instagram. Work produced a mini brand kit, a TikTok template pack with scripted content, Instagram adaptations, and a presentation-ready brand playbook. Deliverables documented the brand voice, visual direction, and platform-specific assets for ABU.
I produced a cohesive brand package for ABU comprising a one-line brand promise with three pillars, a TikTok Canva template pack, an Instagram Canva pack, and a pitch deck with a recorded presentation.
