Customer Revenue Analysis & Capital Budgeting Model

Analyzed a 4,200+ record customer database using Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUP to segment new vs. renewing customers and calculate year-over-year revenue variance by state. Built a discounted cash flow model estimating customer lifetime value, incorporating monthly cancellation-probability decay, tax effects, and a 15% discount rate; used Goal Seek to identify breakeven pricing thresholds under alternative pricing strategies. Constructed a 5-year capital budgeting analysis (NPV, MACRS depreciation, opportunity cost, net working capital) to evaluate an $8.5M infrastructure investment decision.

Built demand forecasting models (naive, moving average, weighted moving average) across multi-city sales data; evaluated forecast accuracy using Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) and Mean Squared Error (MSE). Applied decision-analysis frameworks (Expected Monetary Value, Expected Value of Perfect Information, minimax regret) to evaluate strategic options under uncertainty. Developed an Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) inventory optimization model and a center-of-gravity facility location model to minimize total operating cost.

Attronica Financial Planning & Analysis and Private Company Valuation Externship

A 40-year-old, $80M family-owned IT firm is preparing to sell — and they need real FP&A work to back it: clean financials, a defensible forecast, and a valuation. Organize the books, model the forecast, and deliver a valuation that lands on the CEO's desk and on a buyer's table.

Overview

I collaborated with Attronica, a 40-year-old IT firm preparing for sale, to enhance their financial planning and analysis. My work included organizing financial records, modeling a robust forecast, and delivering a valuation that met the requirements of both the CEO and potential buyers.
