Designed a segmented enterprise network using Cisco Packet Tracer across core, access, data center, and DMZ zones. Configured VLANs, subnetting, 802.1Q trunking, and ACLs to enforce traffic isolation and security policies. Tested system functionality through connectivity testing, VLAN verification, trunk analysis, and network troubleshooting.
Developed and analyzed a controlled ransomware variant in an isolated VirtualBox environment to investigate malicious behavior and IOCs. Investigated malicious payloads and scripts and performed antivirus/EDR scans to identify artifacts and validate remediation. Applied detection, containment, investigation, evidence analysis, and post-incident validation techniques.
