During my externship with BeReal, I examined how product teams create authentic user experiences while promoting growth. I benchmarked competitors, analyzed engagement features, and designed a growth-driven app feature, all aligned with BeReal's mission of fostering genuine connections. The experience deepened my understanding of product management and UX strategy in social media.
I produced an end-to-end BeReal user journey that documented stages, user actions and thoughts, and emotional states, and I prepared benchmarking materials and a prioritized product feature for further development.
