Turn six messy CSVs into an analytics database and a Q4 dashboard that drives real business decisions. SQL + Claude.
The project converted six raw data sources into a structured SQLite analytics database and a one-page Holiday Game Plan, and delivered a static HTML dashboard with KPI calculations. Work included data inventory, schema design, reconciliation of ad spend, bot filtering, and dashboard compilation. The work was awarded Top Performer by Breaking Games.
I produced a validated SQLite analytics database with a dim_product table and clean product IDs, joined queries that trace customer journeys, a filtered checkouts view to remove bot noise, campaign-level ROI checks reconciling $37,200.94 in Meta spend, and a static HTML Holiday dashboard.

The externship prototyped AI-powered document intelligence for enterprise PDFs, combining OCR, large language models, and retrieval-augmented generation. The work reviewed LLM fundamentals and applied that understanding to designing an extraction-focused pipeline. Deliverables included research that informed the technical approach.

I produced a written summary explaining how LLMs tokenize text, learn token-level patterns from large datasets, predict next tokens during inference, and update internal parameters across training cycles.
The submission summarized how LLMs tokenized text, learned token-level patterns from large datasets, predicted next tokens during inference, and updated internal parameters during training, producing more accurate, natural responses over repeated training cycles.
During the externship I cleaned and standardized text data with ftfy and unicodedata, expanded contractions, removed HTML, normalized prices, and saved the cleaned file. I also implemented image denoising, CLAHE contrast enhancement, and adaptive thresholding to improve OCR clarity.
The module had multi-page SDFs, I used PyMuPDF to extract words with bounding box coordinates, noted table/column layout challenges, and recommended locating words by bounding boxes as the next step for finding dates and vendor fields.
