The externship analyzed large public healthcare datasets using statistical models, trend analysis, and interactive visualizations. Work combined infection and outcomes data to produce analytic artifacts and documented analytic steps. Deliverables included interactive dashboards and written analyses of observed patterns.
I defined a research question on cognitive decline, evaluated public health data sources, compared candidate datasets, and selected the CDC BRFSS/Healthy Aging cognitive decline dataset while documenting its relevant variables and fit for the study.
