This involved simulating various cyberattacks, such as spoofing and unauthorized shutoffs, and implementing robust defenses, including TLS and mTLS. The culmination of my work was a detailed security playbook tailored for real-world application.
I produced a threat model, an insecure and then TLS/mTLS-hardened Mosquitto pipeline with replay-attack defenses, a real-time security dashboard, and an Isolation Forest anomaly detector integrated into the dashboard.
