The externship prototyped an AI document-insights pipeline combining OCR, large language models, and retrieval-augmented generation to process enterprise PDFs. Work reviewed LLM fundamentals, integration patterns, and practical tradeoffs for extracting structured data from documents.
I analyzed LLM mechanics and documented how models learn from large text corpora, generate token-by-token outputs, and improve iteratively via updated training and human feedback.
