About me

MIS senior at The Ohio State University leveraging SQL, data analytics, and tech strategy to solve complex business problems and build data-driven solutions.

I started my journey as a marketing intern at a startup in San Jose, CA, where I gained hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. I then took on the role of project manager and later became the Director of Program Management at University Student Consultants, a consulting club at Ohio State. This experience allowed me to develop my leadership and organizational skills. Additionally, I completed a product management externship with BeReal, which further fueled my passion for technology-based solutions and user-centered design.

During my externship with BeReal, I delved into how product teams create authentic user experiences while promoting growth. I mapped the user journey, benchmarked competitors, designed a new app feature, conducted focus group testing, and pitched my feature proposal. This experience sharpened my skills in product management and UX strategy within the social media landscape.

I produced a visual end-to-end user-journey snapshot, an AI-informed competitor benchmark, a minimalist Canva prototype created with Canva AI, a focus-group synthesis that recommended micro-prompts and UI adjustments, and a finalized feature pitch.

Test App Feature in Focus GroupsI synthesized focus-group and survey findings about a daily micro-prompt feature, summarized key behavioral themes, and recommended targeted UI and moderation tweaks.

Map the End-to-End BeReal User JourneyI mapped BeReal’s end-to-end user journey and identified frictions and opportunities from my hands-on testing and research.

Benchmark BeReal’s CompetitorsI mapped BeReal’s product features and user journey, then compared them to Instagram and TikTok to identify retention drivers and friction points.

Design a New App FeatureI designed and prototyped a BeReal feature that prompted specific, low-stakes daily posts to boost habitual engagement while preserving unedited authenticity.
