The externship worked with a deployed IoT environment for a marina, examining device interactions and network architecture. The work mapped device roles, communication flows, and authentication methods, then used that map to identify attack surfaces and mitigation points. Deliverables included an operational analysis and security playbook artifacts produced during the engagement.
I explored the deployed smart-infrastructure stack, documented device behavior and network flows, and produced an analysis that identified exposed interfaces and potential defenses.
