The work built an end-to-end AI document intelligence pipeline for pharmaceutical SDFs, from OCR and layout extraction to RAG retrieval and a Gradio chat UI. Deliverables included extraction notebooks, OCR comparisons, RAG experiments, a multi-file Gradio interface, and a Colab demo with documentation. Evaluation results and retrieval/ocr metrics were recorded alongside architecture notes.

A data analytics externship with the Center for Improving Youth Justice focused on analyzing two decades of juvenile justice records to surface robust correlations in youth outcomes and facility practices.
The externship worked with CIYJ's multi-decade dataset of incident reports, surveys, demographics, staff records, and outcome measures. The work established a framework for appropriate analytical approaches, evaluated when and how correlational methods apply, and produced a clear scope of analysis for subsequent quantitative work.
I produced a shared spreadsheet inventorying each dataset file, recording row and column counts, probable row meanings, presence of multiple sheets, and confirmation of an accompanying codebook.
I explored the CIYJ files, recorded each file's row and column counts, noted what a row likely represented, checked for multiple sheets, and confirmed a separate codebook existed; findings were captured in a shared spreadsheet.
