The Saints don't run a classic summer internship class. Their internship is the Pelicans and Saints Associate Program, a paid, full-time, 10-month role that the club's own page aims at post-graduates. Two Associate roles are open right now, both posted on 7 October 2026: Inside Sales (starting 4 January 2027) and Ticket Operations. Here's the cycle in plain words: the main cohort usually posts between January and April and starts in June, so you apply in early 2027 and start in June 2027. If you're a current student, nothing in the Associate Program is open to you today, but graduating seniors should plan for that window.

The Associate Program is for recent graduates. Two roles were open on 17 October 2026 (rolling), and the main cohort for June 2027 is expected to post between January and April 2027.

The Associate roles are sales, ticketing and marketing jobs, so proof of customer and fan insight helps. Externships are short, remote programs where you complete a real project for a real company, most commonly over 8 weeks. The Breaking Games E-Commerce Data Analysis & Strategy fits the ticket sales and operations roles, and the Beats by Dre Creative Advertising Strategy fits the social, video and partnership marketing roles. What Is a New Orleans Saints Internship?

A New Orleans Saints internship means the Pelicans and Saints Associate Program, which the club's careers page calls a 10-12 month, paid internship. It's built for post-graduates, not for students on a summer break: the page says it will unite "post-graduates" looking to add real-world experience to their education, and the postings call it an intern-level program for entry-level candidates. Associates work full-time across both the NFL and NBA seasons, with roles shared by the Saints and the Pelicans, the city's NBA team. Pelicans-only postings, such as a Basketball Operations Game Day Intern in October 2025, aren't Saints roles.

When Do New Orleans Saints Internship Applications Open for 2027–2028?

The Associate Program runs on two clocks. The main cohort posts once a year for a June start: the 2025–26 postings were up by 18 January 2025, a lead of about 5 months before the 9 June 2025 start, while the 2024 batch was captured in mid-April, so the month changes by year. The second clock is mid-year backfills for open seats, like the two roles posted on 7 October 2026. The club's careers page is stale, still saying applications "will open in January 2026" for a 2026–27 cohort, so go by the Dayforce board. Applications for the June 2027 cohort are expected between January and April 2027.

Two Associate roles are open and accepting applications: Inside Sales Associate (starts 4 January 2027) and Ticket Operations Associate, both posted 7 October 2026 with a rolling deadline. They are for recent graduates. If you're still a student, use this fall to prepare for the main cohort.

The main Associate cohort for a June 2027 start is expected to post across these months, role by role. The 2025–26 batch was up by 18 January 2025; the 2024 batch was captured between 13 and 22 April 2024. Low-to-medium confidence on the month. Apply to each role in its first week.

The 10-month cohort itself, expected to run from June to the end of the Pelicans' season. Past cohorts ran 9 June 2025 to 17 April 2026, and 8 June 2026 to 16 April 2027. The 2027–28 dates aren't published.

How to read this page: our dates come from tracking previous recruiting cycles and daily posting data. Treat them as informed estimates based on historical patterns, not confirmed dates. The company's official careers page is always the most current source. If a role is posted there, go by that, even if this page suggests the window hasn't opened yet.

Why You Must Apply the Week Applications Open

The two open roles say "Rolling Deadline" and the Inside Sales role has a fixed start date of 4 January 2027, so either can fill before then without notice. The main cohort is posted role by role, not as one window, and the postings we read give no closing date. That's a rolling process with a start date behind it: apply in the first days a role appears, and check the Dayforce board weekly from January.

These are the Associate roles from the two open postings and the January 2025 batch, the latest full set we could read. Role names change every year.

What Are the Eligibility Requirements?

The Associate Program is aimed at people who have already graduated. This is what the club says:

• Graduates first: the club's page describes "post-graduates", and the postings describe "entry-level candidates" in a "full-time, paid position".

• Degree: a bachelor's degree is preferred on the postings we read, not required. No GPA is stated.

• Residence: you must live in, or be willing to relocate to, the New Orleans area for ten months. Relocation reimbursement is listed.

• Availability: nights, weekends and holidays set by the NFL and NBA schedules; the Inside Sales role also asks you to attend 75 percent of home games for both teams.

• Basketball knowledge: the Inside Sales posting asks for solid knowledge of the NBA, since you sell for both teams.

• Work authorization and academic credit: not stated on the postings we read.

Can a Current Student Apply?

Not to the Associate Program as the club describes it. Nothing in the postings asks for a current student, and the page speaks to post-graduates. Summer-only roles have appeared before: an HR Intern and a Consumer Insights & Analytics Summer Associate in April 2024, and a Motion Graphics Associate for 9 June to 15 August 2025. We couldn't read their eligibility, and none is open today. Seniors finishing in spring 2027 should apply in the January to April window; the postings don't say you must already hold your degree, only that one is preferred.

What Skills Do the New Orleans Saints Look For, and How Do You Build Them?

Across ten Associate postings (two live, eight from January 2025), a few asks repeat. Availability: all ten require nights, weekends and holidays tied to the NFL and NBA schedules. Tools: all ten name Microsoft Office; five name Adobe tools such as Premiere Pro and Photoshop; two (Inside Sales and Partnership Sales) name a CRM. Pace: nine mention deadlines or pressure. Location: all ten require living in New Orleans for the term.

What Is the New Orleans Saints Application and Interview Process Like?

The Saints and Pelicans don't publish an interview format. This is what the postings say:

1. Find the role. Use "Search Job Openings" on the Saints careers page, or the TeamWork Online mirror.

2. Apply online only. The postings say not to mail or email résumés. If you start on TeamWork Online, you finish the application on the Saints and Pelicans site.

3. Apply to the roles that fit. The postings ask you to apply only to positions that match your experience and interests, and each department is its own posting.

4. Wait to be contacted. Qualified candidates are contacted by phone or email, and the postings ask you not to contact HR or the hiring manager about status.

5. Plan the move. You must live in or relocate to the New Orleans area for ten months, and relocation reimbursement is listed.

The Saints and Pelicans also don't publish an applicant count, class size or return-offer rate.

What We Found on Reddit

We searched Reddit on 17 October 2026 and found no first-hand thread from a Saints or Pelicans associate. The only thread that mentioned the program had its post and author deleted when we fetched it, so we're not quoting it or padding this section with off-topic posts.

How Do You Stand Out for a Saints Associate Role?

Three moves. First, know it's a graduate program and apply in the right window: the two open roles now, then January to April 2027 for June. Second, say you want the work. The Inside Sales role is a quota-driven phone job with a 100-calls-a-day target and weekly sales goals, so lead with outreach and customer-service results, and show you know the NBA as well as the NFL. Third, match the tools: Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SRO ticketing for sales, Adobe Premiere and Photoshop for social and video. The program doesn't publish an applicant count or conversion rate, so treat it as a 10-month paid start in the business of sports and ask about next steps once you're in.

FAQ

Can I still apply for a summer 2026 New Orleans Saints internship?

No, and the Saints don't run a classic summer internship class. Their main program is the Associate Program for post-graduates, a paid 10-month role shared with the Pelicans. Two Associate roles were open on 17 October 2026, and the next main cohort is expected to post between January and April 2027.

Is the Saints Associate Program really an internship?

The club calls it a paid internship, but it's a full-time, 10-month program aimed at post-graduates. The careers page describes a 10-12 month paid internship, and the postings call it an intern-level program for entry-level candidates, with a bachelor's degree preferred. Don't expect a summer class for students.

Who can apply for the Saints Associate Program?

Mainly recent graduates. The club's page says the program unites post-graduates, and the postings we read prefer a bachelor's degree but don't require one. You must live in or relocate to the New Orleans area for ten months. Seniors graduating in spring 2027 should apply in the January to April window.

When do the next Saints Associate applications open?

Applications for the June 2027 cohort are expected between January and April 2027. The 2025–26 postings were up by 18 January 2025, and a 2024 batch was captured in mid-April, so the month changes. Two Associate roles are already open, with rolling deadlines.

Are any Saints Associate roles open right now?

Yes, two. On 17 October 2026 the Dayforce board listed an Inside Sales Associate (starting 4 January 2027) and a Ticket Operations Associate, both posted 7 October with a rolling deadline. Other roles on the board, like Digital Marketing Coordinator, are full-time jobs rather than Associate Program roles.

How much do Saints Associates get paid?

The postings say the role is a paid, full-time, hourly (non-exempt) position, but the rate isn't published. Listed benefits are medical insurance options, a 401(k) with company contribution, paid holidays, a wellness program with gym membership, and relocation reimbursement. Ask for the rate early in the process.

Is the Saints Associate Program the same as a Pelicans internship?

It's shared. Associates work across both the NFL and NBA seasons for the Saints and the Pelicans, and the Inside Sales role asks for NBA knowledge too. Pelicans-only postings, like the Basketball Operations Game Day Intern from October 2025, are separate roles and not Saints Associate positions.

Do Saints Associates get full-time offers?

The Saints and Pelicans don't publish a conversion rate or class size, and we found no first-hand accounts. The program is already full-time and paid, and the postings describe it as exposure to the business side of sports. Ask about next steps once you're in the cohort.

Two Saints and Pelicans Associate roles are open now, and the main cohort for June 2027 is expected from January. If you want a finished project to show, a remote Externship takes about 5 to 10 hours a week.
